2500 autonomous agents seek local proximity, react to their neighbors, and form a cohesive swarm from this. All parameters can be directly examined in the laboratory.

The principle behind the movement

Swarm Moiré emerged from our work on agent systems in which specialized actors exchange information and collaboratively solve tasks. The visualization translates this principle into motion: no single agent knows the overall picture, yet a recognizable order arises from local signals.
